Seven Fifth

Here’s former Fifth Street Properties’ CEO Harry Conley and Seven Oaks Co’s CEO Bob Voyles apparently plotting to take over the world. Harry just joined Seven Oaks and will be running a newly formed management division, so Seven Oaks will now pursue third-party facilities management work. It’s in so many ways a return to what Harry loves. The 30-year CRE vet began his career in facilities management under Gerald Hines’ tutelage. And even though he left Fifth Street, Harry says there’s still plenty of opportunity to grab third-party management assignments. “There’s quite a bit of shuffling going on in the market,” Harry tells us. And there’s good reason to pursue it: Management makes money. “Management during this down cycle has been one of the consistent revenue generators.” While specialized in office, Harry says he has experience managing condo projects at Fifth Street (like Aqua, The Reynolds, and Park Central in Midtown) that he hopes to leverage to get Seven Oaks a foothold in multifamily management.
