ATLANTA – Bob Voyles, former senior vice president in the Southeast regional office of Hines, a real estate development company, and founder of Seven Oaks Co., was recently appointed by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners to the seven-member Cobb-Marietta Coliseum and Exhibit Hall Authority, replacing the late Kim King.
“We are fortunate to have a true leader with the extensive background, knowledge and community awareness needed to achieve the goals Kim King had already set in motion,” said Authority Chairman Earl Smith. “Bob Voyles is one of the most progressive thinkers in this region, and we’re truly honored that he had volunteered his time to join the Authority.”
Voyles has served on several civic boards including the Perimeter Community Improvement District, Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and Georgia Regional Transportation Authority.
